LAURELVILLE ELEMENTARY: 3RD GRADE RECYCLING PROJECT

The 3rd grade at Laurelville Elementary is doing a recycling project this year that will involve the entire school and community.  The 3rd graders are collecting plastic caps and lids which will then been melted down and turned into a bench by Green Tree Plastics and placed somewhere on our school grounds. They have a goal of 200lbs and will need everyone's help to reach it. An accompanying chart shows what caps/lids are acceptable.

SALT CREEK INTERMEDIATE: THANK YOU BOB AND KAREN BENSONHAVER

The students and staff at Salt Creek Intermediate school would like to thank Bob and Karen Bensonhaver for their generous donation of water bottles during the stretch of hot temperatures in our building. We would also like to thank the Board of Education for distributing Ice Cream cups to our students during this time as well. The donations made by both parties were very much appreciated. Our students and staff are grateful for your thoughts and kindness.
